Indigos are characterized by similar psychological characteristics. Their brains are quite literally “wired” differently from most people’s and thus, they share similar attributes. These attributes include feeling “different,” increased intelligence, heightened sensitivity, increased intuition, a strong desire to change the world, a higher level of awareness, may be diagnosed as ADD or ADHD, and have difficulty fitting in to today’s institutions (educational, social, political, etc.)
